I believe RBI is a premier JBO league and find
it meets my two boys baseball needs. After one year in the local
little league it was clear that a baseball league investigation
was in order. After a few years of participating in RBI with my
older son I felt that he was being ripped off in the evaluation
process - this concern caused me to get more involved and led to
the discovery that all of the volunteers at RBI try to be fair and
care about the children - not just a "good ol boys network"
that has been rumored.
With all that said, RBI is a well established JBO league that tries
to improve itself and influence Washington County JBO and the formal
JBO board members to do what is right for our organization. The
volunteers spend countless hours starting in August and run through
July the next year. I am not complaining, on the contrary, I hope
this message inspires a few folks to come get involved - help some
kids and play baseball.
